Emerson College is a private college with its main campus in Boston, Massachusetts. Founded in 1880 by Charles Wesley Emerson as a "school of oratory," the college offers more than three dozen degree and professional training programs specializing in the fields of arts and communication with a foundation in liberal arts studies. Its location is right at the center of the City, surrounded by many significant historic landmarks and structures; the most notable are the Boston Public Garden and Boston Common. It is served by Boylston station on the MBTA Green Line and Chinatown station on the Orange Line. During full-day excursions, Meal Boxes or a prepaid card with a flat rate amount will be provided to be used for lunches and/or dinners in the city. There is also free Wifi throughout the campus.
