San Jose State University is located in the center of San Jose, a pleasant and beautiful modern city, capital of Silicon Valley and strategically positioned between the main companies of the district and the city of San Francisco (less than an hour). The campus is adjacent to the San Jose promenade, where there are clubs and shops, cinemas and museums. The university offers facilities that are the envy of the largest universities in California: a large sports hall, a magnificent swimming pool and a Student Union with shops, restaurants, Starbucks and, one of a kind, a real bowling alley. During full-day excursions, Meal Boxes or a prepaid card with a flat rate amount will be provided to be used for lunches and/or dinners in the city. There is also free Wifi throughout the campus.

TEACHERS
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, EFL lessons. Your lessons will help students to ‘learn by doing’ and to improve their confidence in speaking English by activation of their passive vocabulary.

The Teaching Manager is responsible for supervising and supporting a team of EFL teachers, and ensuring that the academic programme runs smoothly and that the highest possible academic standards are maintained.
ACTIVITY LEADER
To be part of a team that delivers a varied, exciting and culturally enriching activity and excursion program to young and teenage students.
ACTIVITY MANAGER
Responsible for the day-to-day management of all aspects of the activity program, including organizing all daytime and evening activities and excursions and ensuring they are run smoothly.
